The indistinct chatter of farmers, craftsman, and clergy fills the warm, spacious taproom of the King’s Road Tavern, Greenest’s most beloved alehouse for travelers and townsfolk alike. Wizards study spellbooks at their tables. Clerics sing hymns by the fire and fighters shout merrily from the bar. Meanwhile, far away from this peaceful way stop, a dragon draws nearer and nearer, a fanatical throng of worshippers in its shadow. What evil has sets its sights upon Greenest? What do the worshippers want? Who will rise to face this draconic threat and defend the town of Greenest from evil? A couple of heroes, of course, and you meet in a tavern.
